Within the healthcare field, James Durkin is a non-physician corporate owner of medical facilities where, through his business – Durkar Enterprises, LLC – he works to create, grow, and develop businesses within various sectors of the healthcare field, including dermatology.
As we grow as a society, we’ve developed a more significant concern for – and ability to understand – our own health and, as a result, the field of healthcare is constantly growing. New practices are opening and growing while others are closing to make room for better innovation and care, and James enjoys being one of the driving forces behind helping these new practices grow legs and take off.

Outside of his work in healthcare, James Durkin is a skilled Licensed Real Estate Associate who first got started working in real estate when he purchased his own home in 2010 and experienced the process of homebuying firsthand. Across the entire process, James felt he experienced a lack of professionalism, which lead him to believe there had to be a better way to do things. With the mindset that “if those guys can do it, I can do it,” James began his foray into real estate while purchasing his home and – in the near-decade since – has grown and curated his skills through his business, Property Source Investments LLC, which he founded in 2011.
At Property Source Investments, James Durkin handles nearly every aspect of the real estate investment process, from dealing with investors to seeking out and identifying lucrative real estate investment opportunities to the actual acquisition, construction, remarketing, and selling of the properties. He’s also involved in the organization of his clients’ investment funds into a consolidated yet diversified real estate portfolio where he’s able to manage their accounts from acquisition to funding and through the closing.
